The sister of Phawinee, Srikanda, is a stunning woman of whom her father is incredibly pleased. Despite her father's objections, she fell in love with Nopphanai, and they resolved to elope. When Phawinee accidentally encounters Srikanda one day, she remarks on how emaciated and downtrodden she appears. Eventually, she develops a disease and dies. After learning that her mother and sister-in-law had tormented her sister, Phawinee resolves to marry Nopphanai on the condition that they "never touch" in order to care for her nephew. Following that, Phawinee relocates there and has a battle with his mother and sister. Because she refuses to give in to them like her sister did, her retaliation starts.
